Sopranos

Abigail Juganaru
Within her solo classical repertoire, Abigail Juganaru is a soprano, though she is known for her broad vocal range and versatility within choral and contemporary ensembles. Since before her family immigrated from her homeland of Romania to the United States, she already had a passion for singing. Her earliest encounters with music were through her family's church choir in Romania, and later, watching André Rieu conduct massive concerts on PBS as a child in the US. Over the years, she was led to an advanced high-school choir, as well as exploring piano lessons, voice lessons, and solo performance opportunities.
Though Abigail began college studying biochemistry with the goal to have a career in the medical field, she was firmly led back to music within her freshman year, and soon began her formal academic training in classical music at Pima Community College, and later at University of Arizona. During this time she became involved in operas and competitions, and collaborative projects with fellow musicians, composers, and artists which empowered her to learn and grow beyond just her academic journey. Abigail intends to pursue a number of professional musical endeavors including a career performing opera, recording, producing, and performing solo and chamber repertoire, and continuing with her numerous live and studio projects. Abigail completed her Bachelor's in Music: Vocal Performance in Spring of 2022 at the University of Arizona's Fred Fox School of Music.
